After completing my 4 year teacher’s diploma in 1974 I started my teaching career, which I have pursued for nearly fourteen years at senior middle schools. During this period I completed my B.A degree as well as my Honors degree at the University of South Africa (UNISA). After fulfilling years in the teaching environment I joined the then South African Defence Force (SADF) in 1986 as a translator/editor with the rank of Major. I rose to the rank of Lieutenant Colonel in 1990.
I was appointed as Director Language Support at the South African Military Health Service (SAMHS), one of the four Arms of the Service, in 1996 and held that position till 2001. After that I was transferred to the South African National War College in January 2002 where I lectured until the end of 2004. I was a lecturer at our most prestigious military college for three years lecturing English to the students
I then was a lecturer at the training college of the SAMHS where I taught English and Computer literacy. I went on early retirement on 31 July 2006 to pursue other options in the teaching environment. I then got a lecturing post at the Agricultural University of Inner Mongolia (IMAU) and left at the end of 2006.
In March 2007 I joined the ranks of a private school, Hong N School, in Suzhou where I taught Middle School students until the end of June. I started teaching at the Yancheng Teachers University beginning Sept 2007 and held that position for two years until June 2009.
I was appointed at the Nan Guo Business School and started teaching here on the 1st of Sept 2009.
I completed my Master’s degree (M. Phil), at the University of Ste llenbosch in 2001. I enrolled for my Doctorate in 2002 at the Tshwane University of Technology, Pretoria, and a doctorate degree was bestowed on me in September 2004. The title of my thesis is: A Language Acquisition Mechanism: A Methodological Foundation.
My strengths lay in strong communication and organizational skills, as well as the ability to teach/lecture English and computer skills.

1996年，我被任命为南非军用卫生服务——四军服务之一的语言支持库主管。2001年后我到了南非国家军事学院教书直到2004年年底。在那个最负盛名的军事学院里我作为老师教授了三年的英语。
后来我又在南非军用卫生服务属下的师范学院教授英语和计算机文化。2006年7月31日我提前退役了，因为我想在教育领域有更多新的尝试。退役后我在内蒙古农业大学做了半年的教师。
2007年3月我在苏州的私立洪恩学校教授中学生，并在6月份离职。同年9月我开始在盐城师范大学任教，一直到2009年6月离职。
现在我受聘到yL23411永利官网登录教书，并在2009年9月1日开始我在南国的教学。
2001年我在斯坦伦堡大学获得了我的硕士学位。在2002年的时候我又进入在比勒陀利亚（南非首都）的Tshwane科技大学攻读博士学位，并于2004年顺利取得我的博士学位。我的博士论文的论题是《语言习得的机制：一种方法论基础》
我的特长是善于沟通和组织能力强，而在教学方面，无论是教授英语还是教授电脑知识我都很在行。
