On November 25, the 25th Sports Meet was inaugurated at the athletic field in the cheers and excitement of the audience. Members of the college leadership, together with teachers and students, watched the opening ceremony. This year also marked the centenary of the Communist Party of China and the 25th anniversary of South China Business College, to which special tribute were paid by all the competing teams with their unique performances.
Executive President Wang Hua announced the opening of the Games. Party Secretary and Vice President Xu Zhichao delivered a speech for the opening ceremony. The ceremony was presided by Vice President Wang Xinjie.
