Executive Vice President Lai Zhili Visits Thailand
From March 21 to 24, Executive Vice President Lai Zhili visited several organizations in Thailand, accompanied by the leadership and some teachers from the School of International Economics and Finance.
The group took a tour of the Shenzhen General Chamber of Commerce in Thailand as invited and had conversations with President Xie Chongtong and others of the organization. The two sides agreed to cooperate on such areas as establishment of practice base, career development and business launching for students as well as alumni association after in-depth discussion and exchanges.
On March 22, the group paid a visit to Rajamangala University of Technology Krungthep and was received by Dr. Sukit Nitinai, president of the University and the dean of the School of International students. The two sides signed an MOU after reaching consensus on student exchange, academic exchange, faculty training and other areas of cooperation.
On March 23, the group went to Bangkok Thonburi University and was welcome by Mr. Lin Xu, associate president and dean of School of International Students. The two sides signed an MOU on international education exchange after detailed discussions on such issues as short-term student exchange, “2+2”collaborative education, collaborative postgraduate programs, and scientific researches.
The group also called on several alumni representatives who had started their own businesses at Bangkok.
