SCBC Held the Second Session of
the Undergraduate Teaching Work Conference
ToImprove the Quality of Practice-oriented Talents Training
 
  To deepen the teaching reform and promote the quality of instruction, SCBC held the second session of the undergraduate teaching work conference on the afternoon of Nov. 26. The theme of this conference is to strengthen the instruction through practice, deepen the reform of teaching and improve the quality of practice-oriented talents training ". The conference was attended by faculty, student advisors and staff of units of school leadership, teaching supervision, administrative personnel and logistics management.
 
 
  Yuan Changqing, executive vice president of SCBC, made the presidential work report. The report mainly focuses on such three aspects as the review of the work of the past three years, the existing issues of the undergraduate teaching work and the main tasks of the next stage.
 
 
  Vice President Xiong Kuanghan made the speech of "Self-establishing to reach the standards of excellence, substantially working to meet the assessment -- Actively promote the assessment and construction work of undergraduate instruction and pedagogical quality".
 
 
  In the end of the meeting, Professor Li Gengyin, dean of the School of International Economics and Finance, Professor Qin Mingwu, director of the School of Eastern Languages and Cultures, Professor Zhang Hengzhen, director of the College-English Teaching Department made speeches respectively on their topics.
 
 
 
Teachers and students from Celaya University initiate
business exchange activities at SCBC
 
  Teachers and students from Celaya University, Mexico initiated business exchange activities in SCBC from Nov. 24 to 29.
 
 
  On the afternoon of Nov. 25, Mexican teachers and students held an exchange meeting with SCBC Spanish majors and teachers in Room F101. At the meeting, Professor Ramirez Luis Fernando Garc introduced Mexico, Celaya city and Celaya University to Chinese students.
 
 
  On the afternoon of Nov. 26, Mexican students and SCBC Business English major students communicated in Room C301. 3 Mexican students, Sara, Claudia and Paulina briefed their business plans to Chinese students.
 
 
  The "Fresh" project team formed by SCBC Business English major students of 13-14 Grades, in this exchange, also introduced their business plan for the e-Business of fresh agricultural products.
 
 
  It is reported that Celaya university teachers and students went on participating a series of activities, such as sitting in "international business negotiations", "international trade practice" and other courses, touring the Guangzhou landmarks for a full understanding of local customs and practices in Guangzhou.
