Arabic, Japanese & Korean Dance Competition Final
On May 27, the final of Arabic, Japanese and Korean “Dream” Dance Competition, organized by the Department of Asian Languages and Cultures, was unveiled at the Business Plaza. The dancers were required to compete in the prepared and the impromptu sessions for the favor of expert judges, audience and micro-bloggers. In the competition, the dancers presented their creative choreography, showcasing the features of different dancing styles, such as the passion and excitement of Arabic dance, the leisure and gentleness of Japanese folk dance, and the dazzling of Korean Hip-Hop. Thanks to their splendid performance, the audience had enjoyed a feast of dancing show. Zou Weixiong, Dancer No.1 and a solo dancer from the Department of English Language and Culture, finally triumphed in the competition with outstanding dancing brilliance.
English Drama Contest: Youth and Ingenuity
The final of 2014 “Youth and Ingenuity” English Drama Contest was held at Room C301 on May 29. A panel of 14 Chinese and foreign teachers from the Department of College English judged the performance of six teams that had gone through the preliminary competition to make the final. At the end, the winner went to the players from the Class of Logistics, Grade 2013 with their drama “Pay”.
The Fifth “China Dream, My Dream” English Proficiency Contest
The fifth English Proficiency Contest with the theme of “China Dream, My Dream”, organized by the Department of English Language and Culture, was held at Room F104 on May 29. After three sessions of fierce competition, the team “2B girls” won the contest with their brilliant performance.
The Fourth Workplace Simulation PK Battle Held at SCBC
On May 29, the fourth Workplace Simulation PK Battle, organized by the Department of English Language and Culture, was held at Room C402. The Contestants were required to present in English a chosen product through videos or posters. Luo Baoru won the competition with her excellent presentation.
