Vice President from Columbus State University Visits SCBC

 

     On May 20, Mr. John P. McElveen, Assistant Vice President for Enrollment Management at Columbus State University in the U.S., led a delegation to visit SCBC. According to Mr. McElveen, Columbus State University attaches great importance to the cultivation of student’s professional skills and international vision. At present, the University has cooperated with many institutions of higher learning in South Korea, Japan, and Mainland China. The two sides had an in-depth discussion on such areas as curriculum design, student exchange program and faculty training projects.

 

    

 


Students Win Silvers and Bronzes in Provincial Collegiate Business Initiation Competition

 

     As the final review of “the Challenge Cup--for the Brilliant Youth” Business Initiation Competition and the opening ceremony of the 8th Collegiate Festival of Science and Technology were held at Guangdong University of Finance on May 17, good news had arrived that SCBC students as teams won two silvers and four bronzes in the competition. Specifically, the silver winning projects were “ SCBC Station for Campus Scrap Paper Recycling” in the category of chemical technology and environmental science and “Shriek Recycling Company” in the category of cultural innovation and services consultancy; the four bronzes winners were “Travel Track Folk Art Craft Company”, “D&Me Wine for DIY Experience”, “Household Delivery Services”, and “Characteristic Apartment for College Students” with the first in the category of chemical technology and environmental science and the rest in the category of cultural innovation and services consultancy.
