Feng Ziping from Thompson Rivers University Visits SCBC
On March 14, Mr. Feng Ziping, manager of International Marketing and Operations of TRU World at Thompson Rivers University in Canada came to visit SCBC and was welcomed by Vice President Lai Zhili. According to Mr. Feng, Thompson Rivers University has established partnerships with quite a few colleges and universities in Mainland China and it is looking forward to real cooperation with SCBC. Mr. Lai expressed the hope of building partnership with its Canadian counterpart in such areas as “2+2” programs, student internships, faculty trainings, etc..
Richard Tan from Southern Queensland University in Australia Visits SCBC
On March 19, Mr. Richard Tan, manager of International Relationship of Southern Queensland University in Australia, led a delegation to visit SCBC. Yang Jianjun, director of SCBC’s International Exchange and Cooperation Division, welcomed the guests in Room 309 of the Administration Building and discussed the details of the “2.5+1.5” program in the meeting.
Two Teachers from Celal Bayar University in Turkey Exchange at SCBC
On March 17, Mr. Mustafa Kirli and Mr. Harun GÜMÜŞ from Celal Bayar University in Turkey started their 9-day exchange mission at SCBC. Vice President Lai Zhili gave them a warm welcome in Room 301 of the Administration Building on March 18. He also hoped that the guests enjoy wonderful time at SCBC as they exchanged and communicated with the faculty and the students here. From March 19 to 20, they respectively gave a series of lectures on “E-Commerce” and “Human Resources Cost” to students from the Department of International Trade and Economics and the Department of International Business Management.
Professor from Celaya University in Mexico Exchange at SCBC
Rogelio Daniel Vélez García, a professor from Celaya University in Mexico, arrived on March 12 and started his exchange journey at SCBC. As the first exchange teacher from Mexico to SCBC, the professor will to give several lectures on Mexican culture and teach in a few courses for students of Spanish language during his one-and-a-half month stay, including “Spanish Listening and Speaking”, “Advanced Spanish Speaking”, and “Advanced Spanish Reading”.
